Thread: ubuntu 11.04 intel Pro Wireless 3945 ABG disabled by hardware switch

i have compaq 6710b came without drivers , reformated hard drive. have clean install of ubuntu 11.04. network manager states wireless disabled hardware switch , unable enable wireless yet wired connection working. have been attempting wireless enabled sometime , have been flumuxed amount of information , request may able me working.
intel corp pro/wireless 3945abg [grolan] network connection (rev02)
