what installation size should select during ubuntu installation? given options ranging 3gb 15gb (default).

want install ubuntu within windows 7 in c drive. use d drive storage purposes. want necessary system files of ubuntu installed. dont want allot space documents/libraries.

want select installation size not compromise speed of ubuntu.

tried find answer doing extensive search, couldn't. please advise.

feel ubuntu installation guide in website (although quite good) needs improvement explain steps during installation new users me.

10g should give room enough apps want install. thats size use on test box...
