best way to create a different page style? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
i using beez_20 need other pages different layout, , i'm not sure how best that. i'd rather not try find , add template @ point in learning.
from reading can find, thought styles might created copy of default style, editing 'advanced options" seems there no way create different dimensions page positions, example.
finally created want making full page article , coding tables rows , columns embedded in-line style tags want. of course had insert modules inside 1 article. approach seems contrary idea of joomla , templates.
what best way create pages different layouts?
thx

full page articles module embedded in them indeed sound contrary idea of templates in joomla.
if want pages different layouts , styles, there's few things can do
-install new template , assign template menu items. gives these pages different (rather variation), , templates have unmatched module positions, can problematic. done however, i'd encourage this- it's far less complicated else i'll suggest.
-do you've done , set new 'style' same template, depends on parameters template author has put @ disposal can done here. can add new parameters template of course, means digging around in code.
-duplicate entire template , rename in several files, discover in extensions manager- bit of faff, there can edit files in new template see fit , assign whatever menu items like.
one template enough sites, there's not many options without getting code.
