Can no longer edit app descriptor file with 3.4 - really?
until now, when publishing air flash professional, manually edit app descriptor xml little workaround:
1. set publish settings in flash professional , click ok
2. edit xml file , save it
3. publish flash professional without opening publish settings again (which recreate xml file).
this has been crucial me in order add elements xml file such <extensions> want include project.
however, seems impossible 3.4 air sdk release version. when try, ignores manual edits of xml file , removes them when publish. huge problem because can no longer add <extensions> in app descriptor file (and can't done flash professional gui).
anyone have idea how keep adding extensions app descriptor file?
hi boris,
i reproduce issue have described , guess have upgraded cs 5.5 cs 6.
in flash pro cs6, there ui support including native extensions in project, , no longer need add <extensions> manually in application descriptor.
