Issue with resizing in CS6
i've been using cs years , started having problems resizing images in cs6.
i'm trying find right words explain what's happening. basically, time resize image, photoshop creates semi-transparent, 1 px border around image.
for example..
here original image.
these dimensions before risizing
and here after.
here image after resizing.
and there's close-up of issue i'm trying describe.
i'm not sure why happening. i've used cs3-5 , never had occur.
oh, , same thing happens when resizing individual layers, well. know can around flattening image. when working layers, not option.
any info/advice appreciated.
that's expected, photoshop assuming canvas doesn't stop @ edge of can see. pulling transparency in around non-existent pixels it's sampling out beyond edge.
yes, know sounds bogus. have suggested should have configuration option stop assuming want sample pixels out there, haven't seen evidence adobe thinks that's idea. tend think know better mere users.
if want avoid partial transparency being pulled in around edge, have 2 choices:
1. crop sides of image [ ] delete cropped pixels option cleared, there @ least real pixels sample beyond edge of visible canvas.
-or-
2. flatten image background, work way know , love when resampled, , not pull in beyond visible edge.
