Multi-camera freezes - video freezes CS6

hi all,

i running cs6 , cs 5.5 side side.  both cs6 , cs5.5 updated , patched.   system has nvidia gtx-570 video card latest driver.  windows 7 x64 patched , updated.

 

in 1 hour 3 camera talking head shoot set edit in multi-camera mode cs6 freezes.  audio play video remains on initial frame , not advance audio.  once happens can close multi-camera window , video remain frozen in regular playback window video playback res set 1/4 res.  cs6 needs closed , reopened normal operation.  rebuilt project in cs5.5 , runs great in multi-camera mode , plays real time @ 100% playback res.

 

it appears project file issue of sort.  cs5.5 project file = 1,293 kb , cs6 project file = 1,617 kb.  cs5.5 project has 3 times sequences in yet smaller.  project file bloat issue 1 cs5 had?

 

on same machine using same install of cs6 have 2.5 hour 5  camera shoot of band plays , edits in 5 camera  multi-camera mode real time @ full res no issues.

 

has experienced freezing in cs6 , has figured out why , how fix it?

this sounds bug in cs6 affects spanned media.  if so, best option edit in 5.5.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
