Can anyone help me? 1.5.12 and BT refusing to upgrade to 2.5 - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi. hope can me. have couple of websites. supposedly on 1.5.12, 1 of them saying legacy 1.0

that 1 barely functioning atm! can't create new pages, etc. it's mess.

i gave in , got bt, host , set in first place, fix it. they're refusing point blank upgrade beyond 1.5.2something

they 2.5 not tested properly, not proven safe or stable, it's open software (or ) , can it, , bloke spoke got quite nasty me when said wanted it.

is safe? working ok? , can upgrade blasted thing myself?

i not technical type. these things baffling me, tbh!

i forward thoughts. much.

for information joomla 2.5 lts (long term support ). while joomla 1.5 end of support , joomla 3.0 testing community.

i recomend use joomla 2.5 if want upgrade.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
