processor:  6 core intel i7 -3930k 3.2ghz 12mb

 

motherboard: asrock x79 extreme4-m lga 2011 intel x79 sata 6gb/s usb 3.0 micro atx intel motherboard

 

ram: 32gb (4x8gb) ddr3

 

hard drives: mushkin 60gb solid state drive sata iii(read/write 525mb/495mb)

 

                    seagate/wd 500gb 7200 rpm 16mb cache sata 6.0gb/s

 

video card: nvidia geforce gt610 2gb ddr3 dvi/vga hdmi pci-exp video card

 

sound card: realtek 8-channel digital sound onboard

 

power supply: thermaltake 1000 watt high performance sli/crossfire power supply

 

os: windows 7 professional 64-bit

 

along case, fans, etc, able perform basic color correction, rotoscope, preview effects, render relatively quickly, , playback hd video etc.?

yes able run production premium smoothly, seriously, hd video editing single normal harddrive? makes no sense whatsoever. raid or @ least 2 drives separate project folders global caches , increase performance. check premiere pro , after effects system specs graphics card support cuda/ mercury playback. yours not listed , supported (though may change next update/ patch)!

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
