Full collections export / import to synchronize their definition in different catalogs

dear adobe & lightroom users,

 

i believe exporting smart collection settings not enough.

have in collections hierarchy of collection set, collection , smart collection me workflow:

 

-special [cs]

-- pano [sc]

-- fuse [sc]

-themes

-- holiday... [sc]

-- ...

- worklist [cs]

-- dominant color [cs]

--- dominant color review [sc]

--- dominant color reviewed [c]

-- weather [cs]

etc.

-- geography [cs]

etc.

 

being able export hierarchy 1 specific node me when switch catalog catalog. after all, smart collections content can re-created.

 

i've seen in db, there these 2 tables need 'copied' : aglibrarycollection & aglibrarycollectioncontent. ids when importing in new catalog pose problem if import them that.

on other hand, there in sdk functions go through collections , functions create collections, collection-sets, smartcollections...

 

  1. would difficult include such functionality in future release ?
  2. would difficult or possible write in mean time plugin that: import/export collection hierarchies ?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
