Just installed Joomla - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello guys,
i have installed joomla group of 400 peoples. want work below:

1. 2 or 3 member able create new article, none of article visible guest. guest allowed view title.

2. on registration page, wish add few more detail, want ask passport no., mobile no. etc.

3. wish add poll in few post. no specific requirement in polls.

4. page should page community of professional of specific group fire engineers.

5. can add theam or template (as in [url banned])

i created demo article not visible on main page, when made article featured article, visible. so have make article featured make them visible?

it not clear why using joomla! 3.0, when novice. suggest using using joomla! 2.5. reason being:

(a) long term support version - there @ least year
(b) there more extensions available
(c) there less bugs

as 3.0 concerned, adapters, advanced users , extension developers. short term support version. means, once 3.5 comes out, version not supported. being base version 3.5, new features being introduced may contain bugs or abnormalities. fewer extensions available 3.0.

you make users registered users except ones allowed create articles. review of document http://docs.joomla.org/access_control_list/2.5/tutorial of in understanding groups , access capabilities.

you have access of articles registered , setting article manager option, show unauthorised links yes.

check whether plug-in "user - profile" of in this. have go plug-in manager review functionality of plug-in.

probably, review extensions @ joomla! extensions directory (jed - http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions).

you search in web joomla! templates. choose few , test them out.

in joomla!, templates , styles within template. yes, install different template , use them.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
