Need Recommendation for Menu - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi - have searched extensions directory , far have not found want , getting point of thinking might learn how build myself. don't want build - lease advise me if 1 knows of module *simple* thing:

i want create main menu *not* require place article underneath first level headings. means when hover on first level heading offers sub headings *do* have articles underneath.

secondly, subheadings drop 1 level , of subheadings slide out horizontally.

you don't need fancy extensions create 1st level item *not* article. need select either "text seperator" or "external url" menu item type (for external url, set link #). these show on menu, not link article (or else, matter).
