Thread: Elantech touchpad in Asus X52N under 10.04

hello,

trying configure notebook friend , have got stuck on touchpad.
touchpad funny one, single button, though left may used left click , right right click.
given wanted give lts version had use 10.04.
preliminary investigation show touchpad not recognised, though l , r click , touchpad proper, including 2 finger swipe scroll, work.
synclient -l declares there no synaptics driver , xinput list acknowledge ps mouse , emulation of mac mouse (!!!).
not ask if touchpad behaviour not erratic, seem click if left long hovering on button, , select @ random screen estate when no selection click applied.
extensive search through french, italian , these forums gave me nothing, except mumbling elantech hw should recognised out of box, , bug...
thank assistance in understand non-trivial problem. usual trial-and-error gsynaptics fiddling did not work, btw.

i stuck in similar situation.
did solution/workaround?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
