Using DirectPHP to embed a php file in content, not updating - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,


i testing jock rotator module had problems getting
the times work in , no reply developer deleted that.

so created php file called current_dj.php
it updates show times , displays image , text.
so each time new show starts show new dj info.

i installed plugin called directphp lets me embed code from
a php file article, instead created html module , added code.
it shows in module sidebar position,
if view current_dj.php file works fine if view it
in joomla module times wrong.

any suggestions coz i'm stuck here, or better solution.
