AE CS6 bug: Can't use any shortcut that includes the C in it

a while ago started having issues in illustrator cs6, couldn't copy , paste 1 document/application another, issue later ported ae , not after including c key stopped working. example can't copy, pre compose or create camera using shortcuts.

 

after lot of troubleshooting able isolate preference pane causing illustrator issue, removed , ai went normal, assumed after effects fixed unfortunately that's not case, still can't use c key.

 

i ran onyx thoroughly, trashed ae's prefs, removed acquired scripts, removed login items , trashed prefs (i read thread mentioned items causing odd behaviors).

 

i compared setup against laptop, has ae cs6 installed , working perfectly, have same scripts, same preferences , login items not installed there ones that's grayed out in imac, can't delete them.

 

if can i'll grateful, i'm wasting lot of time trying solve thing , i'm used using said shortcuts increase workflow.

are absolutely it's not hardware issue?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
