Batch resizing

i want resize dozens of jpeg photos same size.  rather doing them 1 @ time, possible them batch in ps cs5?

if image have same aspect ratio easy use menu file>automate>batch.  need create action resize use photoshop plug-in script fit image.  when record single step action use fit image dialog set size tou want images fit in. set both width , height size want longest side be. fit image constrain resize images aspect ratio not chabges portrait , landscape images can processed in single run. size set in dialog recorded action step, size set script whan action played scripts dialog not displayed. image resized fit.  if image had same aspect ratio 3:2 or 2:3 resized image same size. 

 

if images not have same aspect ratio  need crop image same aspect ratio before doing fit image have output images have same size.
