CS6 temp file blunder - can you repeat this problem?

there serious root problem adobe's implemented permissionless-temp-file creation methods (pun intended.) problem during startup, both bridge , photoshop cs6 try make temp files on root folder of os drive. affecting many peoples' installations crashing them on application launch if not run super-administrator account on computer. adobe says run admin fix it, fix start crash. however, me, creates gigantic problem: breaks os-to-ps , os-to-bridge drag , drop functionality completely!!! literally slowed crawl in workflow having import photos 1 @ time through file-> open menu because couldn't drag , drop various files various locations on computer. not clumped in 1 area neatly bridge open everything, , never realized how used function until run admin band-aid broke it. fixed cs temp location after 10-12 hours of hair pulling research , trial , error, , have photoshop cs6 working without admin permissions , dandy drag , drop, in ps. bridge still cannot run without administrator privileges , cannot have files dropped in or out of or explorer, , getting frustrated here.

 

its kind of disheartening have work 10 hours in order me able pay , utilize adobe's software. 3 months after being made aware of issue in other forums, , how many people affecting, still don't fix when need move default location of temp file somewhere without need admin permissions! (i.e. documents folder?)

 

 

 

 

 

so else find drag , drop ability gone once running bridge/ps cs6 in admin mode? one? there way move default temp creation location of bridge well? i'm frustrated , think adobe seems taking permissions issue way lightly!

i read message , can't tell os you're using.  perhaps helpful.

 

i run uac disabled on windows 7, myself, running administrator time.  have no problem drag , drop.

 

and far can see, since have c: set scratch drive, adobe uses temp folder (which pointed @ c:\temp courtesy temp , tmp environment variables).

 

let's try diagnose problems appear trying work around first...

 

what os?

 

exactly wrong if don't run administrator?  maybe show screenshots.

 

what's temp environment variable set to?

 

is there special you've done system?
