Flash Player Auth issue in chrome only.

first time posting in forum in right area. utilizing web proxy (ironport) in our school environment. using ldap authentication , embedded flash videos not authenticate in chrome. in ie , chrome packet capture see same requests flash player authenticate don't see auth request chrome browser flash player. since prompt not come in chrome users receive our authentication error block page.  tried talking chrome support engineer of course got no where. students/staff use ie, firefox , chrome see issue chrome. on chrome side, did make sure wasusing an  updated version , plugins correct. did flash player update recent version , did not fix issue. also, issue doesn't happen in our school environment. ironport tac engineers recreated issue in there lab. had them escalate issue there advanced engineering deparment bugs said looks might bug flash player. checking see if might known bug or if else has experience issue this.

 

i recreated issue in lab going through web proxy.

 

os: windows 7

flash player version: 11.3.300.271

browser: chrome

 

any input appreciated. post doesn't sound crazy.

could try quick test me , let me know if changes behavior?

 

  1. navigate "about:plugins" in chrome address bar
  2. click details link in upper right part of page expand items
  3. locate "shockwave flash" entries (there 2 or 3 of these)
  4. click "disable" ppapi copy (most first 1 listed), has version number of 11.3.31.227
  5. restart chrome measure , try again

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
