Migrating from Drupal? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

considering joomla! , drupal competitors--at least, seems in forum posts compare joomla! drupal--i figured there migration method available. did quick search of forums, before ask, , found:

2011 there thread asks "hey, there way migrate drupal joomla!?" ends in 2012 post saying "yeah, i'd know too."

in 2009 there thread asks "hey, there way migrate drupal joomla!?" 1 of suggestions search forums information on drupal migration, , response "i did that. lot of suggestions search forums on drupal migration."

this suggests there may not formal way convert drupal on joomla! there case study on web truthout doesn't go in depth summary "it difficult." isn't encouraging.

anyway, i'm wondering because i'm evaluating joomla! 3.0 possible exit alternative drupal 7 site. @ moment i'm trying see if joomla! can replicate functionality have... @ point if i'm serious moving have figure out how of content can keep, , how i'll have re-create. not programmer , can't afford pay one, suspect incredibly painful process require building scratch... figured i'd ask first.

it's interesting found case study - i'm guy headed effort move site.

you're right - it's not easy process - we're talking sites hundreds of thousands of articles - and, i'm sure know, content in drupal can structured in wide variety of ways.

it's not impossible though!

we're working right on cleaning of migration scripts can release them others use -those might helpful.
bottom line, right there's no "click , play" way migrate out of drupal - once start on drupal, lock-in huge.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
