Placing Images In Illustrator Are Blurry.

hello have problem in cs5 type of image or line art blurry. work print , perhaps preview blurry afraid printing bad.

 

most graphics bring in photoshop cs5. make sure 300dpi start , learned should not in rgb mode cmyk.

 

the images should mention when placed small , have scale them correct size. not know why not place original size. small size , blurriness.

any regarding matter appreciative. new @ illustrator , want learn more since seems great tool use printing.

i believe solution problem starts in photoshop. printers require resolution 2x lpi (lines per inch) , common line screen 150 lpi (133 or 175 next common), hence 300 dpi (dots per inch) standard resolution requirement. open image in photoshop >> image >> image size >> uncheck resample image >> change resolution 300 dpi if not , save. bolded cause thath setting important, , need become intimately familiar hwo everthing in image size works. unchecking not add or remove pixels, adjust size of image if change 300 dpi.

 

 

now when place imahe in ilustrator, know image 300 dpi. if scale image smaller, no problem effective resolution >300dpi adn never hurts. if scale image larger in illustrator, know resolution less 300 dpi. can better assess quality of image reproduction.
