Thread: Problem setting up primary monitor

hello,

have following situation. have laptop, connected 2 monitors, 1 of rotated. setup similar one: http://bitkickers.blogspot.com/2009/...itor-with.html .

current situation follows:
-dfp-0, laptop's display, off (because 3 monitors not supported unfortunately),
-dfp-1 monitor on left,
-crt-0 monitor on right (rotate clockwise).

i've set except primary monitory - crt-0, dfp-1. i've tried several things, including:
-switching screen numbers in layout specification (which causes x fail),
-setting twinviewinfoorder dfp-1, crt-0 (doesn't work).

there's conflicting, overriding option in xorg.conf causing crt-0 primary. here's xorg.conf:
code:

what should change dfp-1 recognized primary? in advance help.

try changing primary monitor settings in bios. turn off laptop screen (i'm assuming crt) , leave others on. if problem occurs on boot , gives error messgage going low graphics mode, can reconfigure graphics easier throgh prompts.

feel confident because bios still recognizing laptop monitor.
