Thread: Ubuntu 11.04 + Radeon 5670 + fglrx = slow.

i'm new user of ubuntu. before using windows systems, , linux little bit(debian, gentoo, arch). have performanse issues in ubuntu. in gedit, syntax highlight. using of system unconfortable. time system starts work slower. can't play in favorite game warcraft iii, becouse have low performanse in 800x600 resolution , minimal effects.

but see < 5 fps,

same speed.

when issue i'm install fglrx 11.6 , xorg edgers ppa, system began work faster, not enough.

amd athlon 64x2 5600+, 2gb ddr2 800, sapphire radeon hd5670 512 mb, gygabyte ma74gm-s2 motherboard.
