mtu: left @ 'automatic'
@ point, 'apply' not become live, klik 'wireless security' 'none' default, leave it
on 'ipv4 settings', no idea dhcp leave 'automatic', , klik 'routes'
insert 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.1 1 in 'wireless connection 1' address of wireless modem, net mask, wan modem, not @ confident of them
'ok' , go dhcp screen, 'apply' not active.
can not create 'wireless connection.'
help,please.
you need name of network (whatever yours called) s ssid. infrastructure correct. don't need bssid or mac address. mtu automatic ok. need set wireless security in case network wep or wpa or wpa2. nothing if unsecured. don't need of other number in 'wireless connection 1'; want call it. mine called wireless network! have checked see if additional drivers available card. in terminal type in
lspci -nn
(that lspci in lower case). post says network (wireless card) xxxx:xxxx or name.
