Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Crashes Upon Startup

i have bought/downloaded adobe photoshop elements 10 , installed fine, whenever go start application instantly quits "the application adobe photoshop elements 10 has unexpectedly quit". happens endlessly, , when try going on account still happens. don't have presets or prefrences (others have said delete file) , unsure on next. asked tech support in chat , instructed me make test account, still kept happening.

 

try making direct shortcut organizer , editor. make sure have correct file path there more 1 exe file. can launch programs directly desktop bypassing welcome screen. better welcome screen leaves background processes running.

on windows, right click anywhere on desktop , select new >> shortcut

then click browse button , navigate to:

"c:\program files\adobe\elements 10 organizer\photoshopelementsorganizer.exe"

then click next; click finish

 

n.b. on 64 bit systems navigate program files (x86)

　 

 

then make direct shortcut editor in similar manner.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
