Can't move selected points (in Path window) with keyboard arrows in CS6

hi all,

 

i wondering of other people experience following problem in cs6

let's have degrouped rectangle. of times if want select instance bottom points make rectangle taller select bottom 2 points subselection tool (white arrow) dragging selection on or selecting individual points , after use or down arrow on keyboard change size. though if 1 or more objects behind rectangle, selecting multiple points of front object pain in ***.

 

but particular problem used point selection options in path window. in cs6 though can use subselection tool in path, nothing happens when using arrow keys after that. have click on object again , i'm able move selected points arrow keys, making funcitonality useless.

 

a sort of similar thing occurs (also in previous versions) when insert special character in textfield 'special characters' window. after that, can't hit spacebar , continue typing.

 

if other people have same issue, i'll report bug.

this issue reported other users in june. according path panel's developer aaron beall, problem clicking on swf-based panel gives keyboard focus. released update path panel fix this:

you're right special characters panel. may manifestation of same issue, , worth bug report adobe, particularly if there other affected panels.

 

incidentally, resize rectangle, know can use pointer tool, without ungrouping first, right? think that's makes rectangles special—and why need ungrouped before editing individual points—because can resized directly using pointer tool, unlike other vector objects.
