Compatibility with Photoshop CS5 and CS6

anyone can me please leave comment or suggestion. gladly appreciate it!!

 

i starting digital media class in college , cs5 setup on computers , textbooks cs5 well. haven't upgraded cs6 yet. doing photoshop, flash professional, , illustrator in class. first program using photoshop. have paid , downloaded creative cloud , pertains cs6.

 

my question should stick using photoshop cs5? or can photoshop cs6 used long don't use newer parts of program?

there compatible issues in instance doing project , going , forth computer @ home (with cs6) working on @ school (with cs5)?

as long enable "maximum compatibility" option, have data work with. of course features not available, should not big issue. i'd rather concerned flash , illustrator, more prone converting data non-editable stuff when saving newer version older version....

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
