Complicated Merge in InDesign CS5
hi folks,
is there way create mail merge conditionals? have table in numbers has names of 115 people wish send wedding invitation to. each row consists of unique name , persons mailing address, there may several invitees @ same address. result, to:
a) send 1 invite per address
b) include response card names of invitees @ address along option accept or decline
for example, table might so:
first name 1 | last name 1 | email 1 | address 1 | unit 1 | city | state, country | postal code 1 |
first name 2 | last name 2 | email 2 | address 2 | unit 2 | city | state, country | postal code 2 |
first name 3 | last name 3 | email 3 | address 2 | unit 2 | city | state, country | postal code 2 |
first name 4 | last name 4 | email 4 | address 2 | unit 2 | city | state, country | postal code 2 |
so want 1 invitation go address 1 response card might so:
first name 1 last name 1 - attend ____ - not attend ____
while invitation go address 2 have response card might like:
first name 2 last name 2 - attend ____ - not attend ____
first name 3 last name 3 - attend ____ - not attend ____
first name 4 last name 4 - attend ____ - not attend ____
does know if can done in indesign cs5? if not, suggestions howi might acomplish in package? appreciated. thank time.
glen
