How to properly timewarp 59.94 footage for slow motion effect for 29.97 output

i have footage filmed in 59.94 want use slow motion effects , output 29.97. using timewarp seem duplicate frames @ times. best workflow accomplish cleanest result? i've tried interpreting footage @ 29.97 , keeping @ native 59.94. @ point feel i'm confusing myself further trying random things. thanks!

the first thing find out if footage has fields. not. start dragging footage new composition icon @ bottom of project panel. step through footage 1 frame @ time make sure your'e not seeing duplicate frames , interlacing artifacts.

 

if not, apply timewarp , adjust settings. multiples of frame rates should give best results. if you're still having problems @ point post screenshot of project showing footage info project panel, timeline , ecw timewarp.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
