hi everyone,

 

i'm sure you've seen question plenty of times before, i'm looking @ getting video editing , vfx etc , uploading videos youtube. i'm planning panasonic hc-x900 hd camcorder film , creative suit 6 production premium suite students edit with.

 

i have 21.5" 3.2 ghz core i3 has 4gb ram - i'm planning on upgrading amount of ram. i'm running trial , seems running okay, although haven't put through paces.

 

however, question have panasonic camcorder uses avchd format. understand, premiere pro cs6 accepts format, keep reading people having convert format work it, particularly if using form of mac. don't know if information i'm reading outdated, or if have use converter edit footage? trying learn of stuff pretty daunting beginner, , don't want go , purchase these things find out i've made mistake! may confusing myself reading much.

 

if case have convert format, software people recommend? don't mind paying if have converter.

2nd, i3 not strong enough smoothly edit avchd video... need i7 16gig of ram (minimum) , @ least 2 7200rpm hard drives (minimum)

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
