Thread: 2 pc's on 1 monitor

can run 2 pc's using 1 monitor.
have spare pc can trial o/s can fit 1 monitor in workspace.
it plausible , can run both @ once form of switch / program .
main pc runs w7 , due home commitments family cannot put linux on .
run linux on lappy i'm not complete noob , no expert far though.
connect 1 pc ???

any one.

there hardware switch multiple computers use 1 set of hardware (mouse, keyboard, monitor,...)

attached similar 'vga switch', top-left = input, else = switchable output...

not wanted

if can connect both computers local network, can "remote desktop" windows linux, without linux having have monitor.

take @ vnc software package, free , multi os.

edit: ps. found this, still go software solution on hardware 1 ...

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
