Thread: Cant Run Ubuntu

hey, i'm having lot of problems getting ubuntu run on hp pavilion dv3. laptop wont install operating system inst windows. when try install black screen before , after ubuntu logo. did manage use second laptop install ubuntu swapping hard drives. still getting black screen when try boot. laptop start if take cmos battery out hour.

today tries installing linux mint see if problem copy of ubuntu time can options list says "start linux mint" first option , them has 5 other options underneath after error

"loading isolinux: disk error 04, ax 42bd, drive fe".

can me out because i've had install windows 7 again (which boots perfect every time btw).

have option in bios install particular operating system
have
windows xp
windows vista
other.
set mine other , install linux , or microsoft if want to.

had error when tried install linux on xp / vista setting .

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
