Thread: ethernet not showing up with a fresh install. AspireOneD255E

i have installed ubuntu, xubuntu on laptop usb drives , net install wont work. once os gets installed see no indication ethernet there...

wireless works broadcom support. ethernet has never worked, think when windows still on it, did.

that's pretty indication ethernet up, attached , has ip address. have reason believe otherwise? exceedingly rare ethernet other eth0. may see:
