Video importer does not recognize .wav files
when click media, click files , folders in pe10, click .wav file want import, pop-up "please use video importer". trouble video importer recognizes video files, e.g. mpeg2. .wav files browsed prior being compelled use "video importer" not listed. used easy import audio files in earlier versions of premiere elements. why must "video importer" used if not list common .wav files? can settings of video importer adjusted, or can application side-stepped? gee, don't know why things worked made more complicated or can no longer carried out.
also, please can download proper file or user manual save? willing pay service took granted. gee, have been loyal fan of premiere elements. however, things becoming unhelpful , obscure. hope moderators in spite of new-found negativity of mine. want think again of program have praised many people.
there no actual manual program -- why wrote books.
but i'm not sure in case.
where wav file located? on computer's hard drive?
you shouldn't use video importer wav file -- assuming it's not coming external device camcorder or smartphone or ipad or similar.
but if having problems, try opening windows explorer (or finder on mac) locating file , dragging wav file windows explorer media panel. should drop right in.
