wine commerce website - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello all,
i new joomla , attempting setup dead easy must confused on terminology. on main menu of site want menu entry called wines. have created 3 categories called white wine, rosé wine , red wine. under each category have 6 articles , each article corresponding small description wine , photo.

now main menu , want click on "wines" , show 3 categoriees created , click on red wine , wine articles red wine (6) show .

where confused seems can create parent , child menus, thinking 3 categories should in fact 3 sub menus...but how link 6 articles sub menu ? blog functionality , category list or oother option ? grateful recommendations here...i using built in template way beez 20 or 5..

also looking @ 1 point add e-commerce module ,so people can buy wine via paypal..is there 3rd party plugin works know of ? have impact on how set site ?

if want subcategories main menu items need specify parent item. example begin main menu include white wine, rose, red wine.

to add sub page menu add new menu item , link 1 of wine pages (let's classy , call liebfraumilch)

the liebfraumilch page have it's parent item white wine. on left hand side within new menu item page should see select drop down list. it's between menu location , ordering.

you can same other pages assigning them appropriate parent item. should end menu has subsections.

i afraid don't know joomla ecommerce extensions. can suggest before going ahead building rest of site explore available http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/e-commerce , read reviews , download free extensions , play them see how work.
