3 CP6 Problems: Preview Failure, Scrollbars, & Streaming Video Failure

1. preview failure

i cannot preview files - existing projects brought in cp5.5 or new ones created in cp6.  error says: "swf compilation failed. note: please verify if of actionscript keywords used user variable name."

 

2. scrollbars

i import cp5.5 files cp6. know work if published cp5.5. when publish them cp6, output appears "window in window" on lms.  in other words, instead of being in regular window, sit in window inside main window (behavior not occur when publishe cp5.5)  additional vertical scrollbar requires scroll see whole display.

 

3. streaming video failure

publishing swf: when first load course, takes more 5 minutes streaming video start playing on first slide appears.

publishing html5: video never plays.

 

note: video originates @ our limelight streaming video server.  found note online (http://help.adobe.com/en_us/captivate/cp/using/ws16484b78be4e154270f21eb3136c5dda728-8000. html#ws6badd718-c642-4699-b4c7-eb55d8653227) videos need metadata work correctly.  don't know if true of video hosted @ place limelight or not - if is, how make sure happens?

 

help?  start using cp6, can't until stuff works.

1. open windows control panel, go user accounts > manage user account control settings , set uac never notify, reboot , see if allows preview.

2. scrollbars issue connected way lms scorm player handling new rustici scorm engine in cp6.  not lmss have problem may need adjust settings allow more room.

3. streaming video taking long load , begin playing may bandwidth issue.  how big video?

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
