epub picture book problems

hi,

i'm exploring how make "picture books" in id , export them epubs. "picture books" generic term cover children's books, graphic novels, or other publication contains images need in order or without text.

i've tried exporting book had mix of text , images, , became nightmare - though anchoring images text.

now i'm going easy way. no text, images only.

each image page. yes, it's glorified pdf publication, readable (this goal, anyway) on ebook reader - nook, kindle, ipad, iphone, etc.

the indesign document laid out on individual pages - not spreads. when convert epub doc, , open on mac's epub reader, pages show two-abreast. that's not want like. meant read page @ time. not page advance properly. click on page advance , jumps several pages middle or end.

using caliper, free ap that, among other things, can view epub, shows - 1 page @ time.

i'm plowing through adobe tutorial videos learn more creating epubs - liquid layout, etc., far i've made problem. instead of scrolling through page @ time, scrolls mid page! suggestions how make advance full page @ time?

thanks suggestions , constructive comments.

hi,  making children's illustrated book using id (version 5.0) , using each image page.  still new since our goals seem same , since trouble i'm having not you're having... hope don't mind budding in.....

when say, "when convert epub doc, , open on mac's epub reader, pages show two-abreast. " - have couple of questions:

1) epub reader using?  i've been using adobe digital editions , pages show 1 @ time.  i'd try using ade see if same problem.

2) have files contained in book in id, rather series of id documents?

3) if have files in book exporting epub using book file dialogue box right arrows (i mean, drop down box on book dialogue box)?
