Extension Manager and Update Errors - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello,

hope i'm posting in right spot. in extension manager shows have multiple items update - instance - ja slideshow lite. update , following error message -1 - error has occurred. copy failed.

i have ja contentslider module showing there update have current version it's showing. if try , update same error message.

i have purged cache clicked find updates button continually same error message.

i new joomla 2.5 - there forgetting do?

try clicking purge cache , refreshing page may clear update notice updated extension.

copy failed indicates permission conflict or out of space on drive. if can pro copy of akeeba's admin tools can use fix permissions not sure if free version or if there still free version. otherwise, you'll need contact webhost , see if can set permissions 755 folders , 644 files or sadly you'll have install updated extensions manually.
