hi

when installed ubuntu wanted dual boot windows 7, have 2 200 gb drives , 1 had windows 7 on it.

got bit click happy during install , managed install ubuntu on top of windows 7 , not work anymore.

there anyway can uninstall , windows reinstall on correct drive without damage old windows files.

appreciated

first thing do, disconnect drive overwrote windows on. install ubuntu on correct drive (this way you're working, won't continue overwriting more of old files). boot new ubuntu installation, , try out program called testdisk. odds you'll able recover things, can't tell how much.

edit: when booting after plugging second drive in, make sure boot correct one. also, make sure recover files second hard drive, not 1 windows on.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
