Thread: Very Frustrated User
i've been using ubuntu while , kind of it. first version use 10.10 while updating 11.04 produced lots of errors claims version not genuine.
thought of installing over. downloaded new version, burnt it, installed (i chose install instead of not alongside old buggy 11.04) , life good.
while installing usual softwares found doesn't read drives hard drive. checked file system drive , shocked: of drives fused one. , of course know means has been , mercilessly annihilated. happened without giving notification in advance happen.
i've disappointed, upset , frustrated. can never guess how life depends on data "had". *big sigh* it's futile cry , sit idle can imagine.
wish 3 things:
1) how avoid such problem in future?
2) how recreate partitions again in simple way (i don't mind using bloody installation disk again if it's going help).
3) best way recover there recover if possible.

2) gparted or use partitions manager during install (but read on best practices first, 7 p's (proper planning , preparation prevents p*** poor perofrmance
3) recover, if cna browse contents of disks data external drive before further loss.
wont use space install unless give permission during installation
