Trying to install latest version of Flash for Firefox on WinXP, get Internet Explorer Script Error
i'm trying install latest version of flash (filename install_flashplayer11x32_mssd_aih.exe), browser = firefox 14 (current), os = windows xp. i've tried multiple times, making sure disable norton antivirus autoprotect first.
at point along process - either during download or during installation - following error message:
internet explorer script error
line: 1
char: 10010
error: 'actionlaunchadobe' undefined
code: 0
url: http://127.0.0.1:1174/app/_js/adobe.js
do want continue running scripts on page? [yes] [no]
whether answer [yes] or [no] result same - program hangs. not close, , when close manually asks if want stop it. if leave there, nothing happens.
per advice of website, uninstalled flash in order start on fresh. means that, instead of having outdated version of flash, have none.
i've tried rtfm searches error come empty. i'm curious why internet explorer being involved in begin with. mostly, i'm curious how thing work.
thanks whatever can give me.
