How to automatically create sub menus and automatically fit video to standard DVD with best quality.

i have adobe production premium cs5 , windows 7 ultimate 64bit.

 

part 1:

i used use premiere elements , if set chapter markers , named them, when going set dvd (which integrated in premiere elements) chose menu , sub menu template , elements automatically create create number of sub menus each chapter corresponding chapter markers.  each chapter named named chapter markers.

 

i want know if there way in encore?  have sub menu template has motion menus.  searched once on how automatically create menus/chapters.  forget reason couldn't work.  kept getting error messages.

 

so have timeline set in premiere pro chapter markers in place , named each one.  bring encore (and chapter markers there).  have sub menu template made (it has 4 buttons motion menus).  want encore automatically create correct number of submenus match chapter markers , have name of each chapter match name of chapter marker.

 

is possible?

 

part 2:

i have sony xdcam ex footage recorded in 1080p high definition.  timeline in premiere pro matches this.  edit in hd.  want final product on standard single sided dvd.

 

when bring project encore (either file - import premiere pro sequence, or premiere dynamic line - send encore), sets fine , looks good.  when burn disc using encore's automatic transcode settings, final video (on computer or dvd player) has these zebra lines throughout video.

 

if instead, same thing before burning dvd, render out of premiere using adobe media encoder, mpeg 2 high quality.  replace files in encore new transcoded files.  burns fine, encore doesn't transcoding.

 

question 1:  know why encore transcoding causes problem media encoder doesn't?

 

question 2:  have first project on 2 hours using automatic transcode in encore seems best way fit on single standard dvd.  since can't seem use this, best option automatically fit?  know can render premiere using lossless format , bring video encore , have automatically transcode (i haven't tried yet).  trying avoid rendering twice.

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
