Preparing ports on my network for FMS?

hey,

i've got server installed windows os. reading faqs fms , came across:

what need in network prepare flash media server?

flash media server can use multiple protocols on both tcp , udp. protocols can configured , enabled or disabled. ports , protocols must enabled on network flash media server operate normally.

rtmp protocol (used video streaming , communication) default tcp port 1935, can operate on port 443 (for ssl) , port 80 using tunneling version of protocol. flash player has built-in port priority may choose communicate on these protocols.

http protocol default tcp port 80, shared rtmp tunneled (rtmpt). internal http server communicate flash media server internally using port 8134.

rtmfp (used p2p introductions or multicast) uses udp configurable port range.

multicast-enabled network hardware required take advantage of native ip multicast. approach best internal, enterprise, vpn, or lan networks.

flash media server administration operates on default tcp port 1111.

i wanted here. if intend run rtmp, need 'open' these ports?

thanks,

if you're using rtmp/t/e/s (and not rtmfp), you'll need ports 1935 , 80 (for rtmp clients), , 1111 (if intend use admin console or admin http interface)
