Thread: 11.04 problem - HP1110NR video config

hi everybody, new here , linux far, have problem, here goes...

running ubuntu on hp 1110nr mini mie. had 10.10 , functioned wasn't hot on ui, new version 11.04 came out , upgraded.

guess reading don't support "untiy" display or something...?

can boot 11.04 no top or bottom bar , auto login wifi , stuff nothing other wall paper accessible.

if fire in safe mode works, there problems not being able access entire contents of odd menu page or web page.

have tried change config on video , won't let me make changes resolution , won't auto detect.

need driver? or how can system running? new ui , stay version. in recovery mode can prompts change video settings, don't seem anything..

apreciated, linux great , love enjoy fullest , make support possible.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
