Thread: A script to open several files at once


hi,

i'm new linux , ubuntu. hence, new scripting. create script when run open several files @ once (and perhaps if possible arrange files on different workspaces and/or in orderly arrangement on single workspace). assume such script function on unix os able use same script @ work use solaris. i've searched on forums search came empty. in advance.

what mean " arrange files on different workspaces"?

mean, have different applications open on different desktops?

scripts not run on "desktop"

mean open multiple text files open on single workspace? arranged in specific order?

please elaborate.
