Thread: Troubles with Wireless Connection

hello.

for record, have read other threads. either don't work me or difficult.

installed ubuntu 10.10 livecd (the alternative one) operating system. after installation, connection worked. then, after restarting laptop, didn't anymore.

doesn't connect , when tries, i'm asked password. if correct, doesn't work.

writing lsusb in terminal, get:

bus 001 device 010: id obda:8171 realtek semiconductor corp. rtl8188su 802.11n wlan adapter
i bought because said compatible linux maybe older versions?

tried following other threads have no experience, don't understand them @ all. i'm new linux well.

thing:
have wireless usb adapter, is:
bus 001 device 011: id 083a:7522 accton technology corp. arcadyan 802.11n wireless adapter
but have same problem other one.

thank in advance!

can work on accton first? please open terminal , do:
code:
sudo su echo "blacklist rt2800usb" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf exit
reboot. working?

network set wpa2 or tricky , difficult wpa , wpa2 mixed mode?
