Bug : Illustrator won't launch

hi,

 

when lauching illustrator have windo saying :

"impossible define maximum number of files open" (in french : "impossible de définir le nombre maximal de fichiers à ouvrir"), click "ok" , illustrator shut down !

 

any idea ?
