Deleted AAM, how do I reinstall it?

i signed creative cloud morning , followed of instructions how download , install apps. first photoshop. prompted download , install adobe application manager, did. within aam, tried download photoshop. failed, error (-60), said corrupt. tried after effects. downloaded , installed fine. tried photoshop again. failed, same message.

i read in forum had success downloading trial version of photoshop , entering creative cloud credentials. tried that: prompted download , install adobe download assistant, did. downloaded photoshop successful failed on extraction, said corrupt. gives??

i tried restarting machine , doing download through aam again. @ point noticed there somehow 2 instances of aam in applications folder, in different places. confused, decided delete them both , re-install.

but now, can't figure out how reinstall aam. on https://creative.adobe.com/apps , clicked "download" link under photoshop, literally nothing happens.

i frustrated , disgusted. brand new computer, has no previous history adobe, don't understand problem is.

i guess specific questions asking are:

  • how reinstall aam?
  • what do if photoshop (or other app) download/installation fails again?

thanks,

hi z,

sorry hear difficulties. uninstall both photoshop , after effects. typically when cs6 products included part of creative cloud uninstalled adobe application manager uninstalled also.

after uninstall these both use adobe cleaner tool ensure removed.

for corrupted download of photoshop, if have option to, try downloading trial on different computer , copy installation files on new computer having issue reinstall. if works point new computer
