happy announce release of vinux 3.2 based on ubuntu 11.04. cutting edge release featuring latest versions of orca (3.1.2-xdesktop) , speech-dispatcher (0.8~2784+13~maverick1) daily build repos. version available cd , dvd in both 32 , 64 bit editions. dvd version provides same software cd addition of libreoffice , non-free multimedia codecs etc. default desktop classic gnome 2.x unity available gdm login screen if video card supports 3d. release includes pico tts voices in addition espeak, epiphany internet browser , built-in keybindings organise multiple windows x-tile. features new packages including orca-teacher, talking clock , cdburn. version plays system bell when isolinux boot screen appears allowing select different boot options including experimental 'toram' mode. there vinux 3.2 plus edition features lots of packages partially sighted users:

have managed fit more text tools on cd edition including: sox gpm screen, splitvt, figlet, cmatrix, txt2html, html2text, pdf2svg, pstotext, units mc, trash-cli, vrms, dict, sc, htop, linuxinfo, w3m, elinks-lite, urlview, finch, axel, calcurse, tdl.

known bugs:

selecting cicero speech synth crash orca , have run: orca -t reset way was. not select cicero.

x-tile keybinding 'quad' tile open windows set 'win+alt+v' accident - correct open keyboard shortcuts manager , re-assign 'win+alt+q' - vertical tile option work (win+alt+v).
