Acrobat Pro version 6 not working in vista ( Windows 7 ) ?

what problem adobe acrobat pro version 6 , vista (windows 7)?.....really annoying having upgrade later version costing hundreds of pounds

i not sure if vista has same problem win7 or not. win7, acrotray application used pdf creation (both when printing adobe pdf printer , pdf maker in aa6) not work correctly. may case vista. around problem have print-to-file (you can change pdf port file in printer properties). after file create, can open in distiller complete pdf creation. may possible create watched folders automate process, not ideal. in case, have use work around. also, update aa6 (currently @ 6.0.6). have been able aa5 on win7 test , did indeed work. there may still other issues aa5 on win7, major one.

 

all of these changes came rewrite adobe had compatible new oss, not trivial task. want blame adobe or ms or both? take pick, end result is time upgrade. unfortunately, aa6 can not upgraded aax. have buy aax @ full cost @ point. upgrade have have @ least aa7.

After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

i have after effects cs6 in computer cs5.5 installed. 64bit windows 7 ultimate 20gb memory , 2 amd radeon hd 6900 series display adapters drivers updated hour ago (driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).   when trying use after ecffects, error message " after effect warning: problem occurred when processing opengl commands " when clicking composition window.   what done? not much, i'm afraid. need older graphics driver. other disable second card or play configuration. unfortunately not smart person decided cs6 no longer need manual opengl control user, there's no way suppress within program force-revert software-only modes in case of such issues...   mylenium More discussions in After Effects adobe
