Any idea why Adobe Photoshop Elements Trial will not install?

hello,

i'm holland , english not native language, i'll best explain. had adoble photoshop elements 6.0 installed on computer. got trial adobe photoshop cs5.1 , after elements had disappeared. tried downloading trial elements 10 , had trouble @ first, deleted cs5.1 , elements , tried again elements 10 trial.

it downloads fine website, opens installer once it's done, lets me select language , directory install , installer dissapears. didn't before got trial cs5.1. setup process keeps running in background. see in task manager process list, nothing happens. end process, restart pc, open setup again again same thing happens. trying frustrated here! not going buy full version if trial won't install! it's been way 3 days now. setup keeps running somewhere in background , can see in process list nothing happens. not if leave computer few hours. made sure have adobe things turned off, no other programs running & ran manual deletion of elements 6.0 make sure no remains left behind interfear installation.

again, installation opens fine, can select language , directory when click install disappears background , nothing happens.

i'm hoping can me because close throwing computer out or give on elements.

have got other adobe licensed product on system?  licensed product means product bought , installed on system using serial number supplied you.

if answer no try running adobe's cleaner utility remove traces of adobe products , try installing pse10 again.

the cleaner tool @ link:

<http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html>

please read entire page before using it.  adobe cannot guarantee work use @ own judgement.

because have installed , uninstalled many adobe products system has become unstable due essential files either destroyed or corrupted.  windows installer prime example gets corrupted , microsoft has released cleaner adobe forum deal adobe products here.

good luck.
