Changing multiple articles in one go - SqL ? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi there,
i have number of articles read more , modify readmore text else. know can go in each article , put custom text wondering if there better way things. there anyway modify things directly in sql database i.e select tables or not , write change ?

if want change text string "read more" have change in language string. there no need change in database.

as may changing core joomla! language strings, suggest using language strings' overrides this. create language override string going language manager, clicking on tab overrides, , clicking on icon titled new. in screen "language manager: edit override" can read instructions how search language strings , creating new override strings.
